Specification: The brackets are made of 4mm to 5mm steel plates, the hollow steel tubes and oval tubes are 1.2mm to 1.6mm of thickness. These materials are selected to ensure the bars are strong to maintain constant geometry at all times and ever, yet safe enough to crumble during an impact in order to disperse energy. Further, you will never see an D&D bar with ing plates attached with bolts. All D&D ing plates are welded to the bars.
